While rooted in the rich associations and symbols of myth, Mythopoesy is about the modern human condition, celebrating its beauty and attainments while lamenting its confusion and self-destructiveness. For aesthetic reasons, Steve chose to frame the series not in modern times, but in 19th-century London.
